It is headhunting time
Economical crisis? I cannot see it. At least once a day, I get called, mailed or spammed by headhunters, HR consultants or recruiters.
Shall I consider myself as rare resource?
Shall I ask my boss for a pay rise?

Well I am not interested. codecentric is a great place to work at. Everybody here is skilled and friendly, and our management is very visionary. “Meet the Experts” is a very good example of that. A great idea and the drive to make it happen. Perhaps you want to meet us and the experts on 26th of June?
Because this event is also intended for our customers, which are small to medium sized companies around here in Germany, the website and most of the event will be in German.

Fortunately my company managed to find a new salary system before the crisis reaches us. Yhe salary is now stronger coupled to the ranking score which means that if I’m higher ranked, than I’m paid I’ll get guaranteed raises. Thats very comfortable… and means that I will get a nice raise in fall. However I’m pretty sure, you’re earning more…. but that’s ok, you’re good
(well I’m awesome, too but I’m still a newbie)

I think in a bad economy competition amongs headhunters goes up since they are “selling” people the same few jobs that are out there.
At least that’s how it feels here in the valley.
